That which does not blow

Just finished this book. It is wonderful. Who thought such grisly details of whaling could be so riveting? Well, I should have for one, given my deep appreciation and dare i say love of Moby Dick. This is the true story that served as Melville's inspiration...it is griping in its own right and very well told in this book. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Vicious whales do make for some good stories.
(I just noticed that "Search Inside" is trademarked by Amazon. Is that possible?)

I just downloaded an amazing song from iTunes...it's a live version of Around the World/Harder Better Faster Stronger by Daft Punk. Those two songs, together? How much better could it get?
I believe Kanye West has a song that uses bits of Harder Better etc...also very cool. And I believe it is Around the World that Molly and I are dancing to in the photo on the left. Ella and I are enjoying this one now...although it seems to be making her sleepy.

L'hiver est arrive!

This photo only shows a fraction of the snow we have on the ground now...veritably, a winter wonderland. Sledding with a three year old may be one of the most fun things ever.
