The party's over?

Leave is over. I have very mixed feelings about this, which I believe I've made clear to just about everyone I know. I am sad to leave Ella, but I'm excited to be back at work. Yes. Does this make me a bad mother? I hope not...in fact, it probably does make me better. No matter how much I love my girls, I would go insane at home. I think. There's tons of writing and blogging and general talking about working moms, and I would never want to wade into all that...I just like my job.
And being at work now is fun, too. I've been back for a week and people seem genuinely happy to see me. I know stuff. It is all good for my ego. No doubt the honeymoon will be over soon...Patrick's already resumed swearing at me, so that's probably the beginning of the end.
Oh, life.
