Girls vs. Boys?
I am also considering this exercise as my own personal effort to combat what is my own personal belief, which is that more boys than girls have blogs. Is this true, or is it just true among people I know? I have more elaborate theories in relation to this, but you'll have to buy me a drink to hear them.

Perhaps blogs are within the realm of science and mathematics, which are, as you know...hard. Hence, no girls?
yet, ironically, blogs are a-historical, and we all know boys and girls are bored by history in equal measure.
honestly, though, bookgirl, i think your ideas as to why there are more boyblogs than girlblogs would make an excellent post at some point.

Does Amazon sell martinis? Wouldn't that be awesome? Come home after a hard day at work, find the little Amazon box on the doorstep, open it up, and there, courtesy a far-flug friend, a little cocktail, ready-made.
Maybe Apple can get this going through the ipod.
Or someone come up with "Drinkster" or something.
I'm thirsty.
